Surfactants

A Surfactant is also known as a “wetting agent”. The reason they are used for lawn and garden purposes is that they break up the natural resistance of a plant’s leaves to whatever chemical is being applied. This means that the herbicide or pesticide that you are applying will reach the intended target more quickly. urfactants help herbicides do their job. When you’re trying to kill weeds, you need to add a surfactant to the mix. Technically, a surfactant is a soluble compound that reduces the surface tension of liquids or reduces interfacial tension between two liquids or a liquid and a solid.
